Dhofar Islamic showcases innovative banking solutions at 3rd Hajj and Umrah Exhibition

Dhofar Islamic is showcasing its growing portfolio of innovative, Sharia-compliant banking products and services at the 3rd Hajj and Umrah Conference and Exhibition, reaffirming its commitment to delivering accessible, customer-centric financial solutions that cater to the evolving needs of individuals, families and businesses across the Sultanate of Oman.

The opening ceremony was held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saidi, Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, and attended by Fawaz bin Rajab bin Omar Al Ajili, Head of Corporate Banking at Dhofar Islamic.

The event brings together government entities, private sector organisations and service providers associated with the Hajj and Umrah sector, providing a platform for engagement, knowledge-sharing and the exchange of expertise. Dhofar Islamic's participation underscores its continued efforts to strengthen customer relationships, promote financial inclusion and raise awareness of its diverse banking solutions, while upholding the principles of Islamic Sharia.

The conference features a series of panel discussions and specialised presentations examining developments in the Hajj and Umrah sector, emerging trends and best practices aimed at enhancing the quality and efficiency of services offered to pilgrims.

The accompanying exhibition provides visitors and prospective pilgrims with an opportunity to engage directly with Hajj and Umrah operators, explore available travel packages and services, seek clarifications and make informed choices when planning their spiritual journeys. It also serves as a valuable networking platform for participating organisations to showcase their offerings and explore opportunities for collaboration.

Dhofar Islamic's presence at the exhibition reflects its broader commitment to making modern Islamic banking more accessible, convenient and responsive to customer expectations. By combining established Sharia-compliant banking principles with innovative financial technologies, the bank continues to enhance its service proposition across retail, corporate and business banking segments.

Digital transformation remains a key pillar of this strategy, with Dhofar Islamic investing in advanced banking platforms, mobile banking capabilities, electronic payment solutions and other digital services designed to provide customers with greater convenience, security and flexibility in managing their finances.

Alongside its focus on retail banking, Dhofar Islamic continues to contribute to Oman's economic development through financing solutions that support strategic projects, infrastructure development, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and other productive sectors. These initiatives complement the national priorities outlined in Oman Vision 2040, particularly in promoting entrepreneurship, economic diversification and sustainable growth.

The bank has also steadily expanded its physical presence, with a network of more than 30 branches across the Sultanate's governorates, bringing its services closer to communities and businesses. Through this extensive network, supported by its expanding digital channels, Dhofar Islamic offers a comprehensive range of banking products and services tailored to diverse customer segments, including children, minors, young adults, women, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals.
